Highlights and achievement – Period (July-September 2017)
1. Solicit for funds and aid for drought affected families from donors and all other well-wishers.
2. Online lobbying and advocacy for aid for the affected individuals, we employed the use of face book and website and the response was commendable.
3. Started vocational skill training in Bursalah vocational centre that benefits 200 women/men who were affected by droughts.
4. We participated in the drought Assessment led by MOPIC in Mudug & Nugaal regions.
5. Distributed food to 100 drought stricken IDPs households in bursaalah funded by Read Horn of Africa USA
6. We also distribution food to 100 IDPs households in Galkayo also funded by Read Horn of Africa USA
7. Encouraged and supported victims of drought to go back to their farming activities and other recovery/resilience programs by providing them with necessary support.
