The event took place on April 2017, attended by Local sheikhs, youth leaders, medics and opinion leaders, the participants discussed the issue of drugs abuse among the youth in various aspects including the health hazard it cause and economical implication of it including the crime propensity among the users of the drugs .
Participants gave speeches and point of views and insisted on the health sequences/problems that drug abuse causes, including cancer and the reiterated that drug abuse is against Islamic teachings.
T-shirts, huts, posters, booklets & broachers written with anti-drug abuse messages and slogans distributed to participants in order to distribute to those around them
Members of events participants talked in depth about drug abuse and ways that society in general can help to stop it.
