WFP Somalia Representative/Country Director Mr. Cesar Arroyo visited Laacdheere site on 07 August 2019 on a monitoring mission. The purpose of the visit was to check on how project activities are progressing as well as assist in the identification of potential successes and constraints as a way to facilitate timely decisions
The monitoring was mainly on the progress of drip irrigation system in the area, which is one of the current innovative project that is transforming the way of doing farming in Laacdhere, some of the crops under production through the drip irrigation are fruits and vegetables.
